Key Environment development for Animation

Inspired by my favorite desert, macarons from Ladurée. Ladurée is one of world-wide famous macaron brand and has a story of the birth of modern shape of macaron. The sandwich shape -two macaron shells with a delicious ganache filling - was invented by Pierre Desfontaines at the beginning of the 20th century in Paris. He also opened the tea room for womens, which was helpful to spread the fame of macaron. 

I was curious what makes Pierre to create new shape of macaron and tea room for women. And I imagined if he dreamed about a pastry world and inspired from it.  

1930’s in Paris, France. The story starts with a man who is a patissier. He is struggling to create a new dessert recipe for women. One day, he falls asleep after staying up all night and dreams of the pastry world that looks like women’s heaven. He is floating above the ocean of tea and everything is reflected on the water. This fantastic view inspires him to create his delectable two sided cookie and to create a tea room for women who did not have such a place back then.  

His name is Pierre Desfontaines, the owner of Ladurée. He first thought of taking two cookie shells and joining them with a delicious creamy ganache filling. This pastry is named Macaron, one of the most famous French desserts in the world.
