Australia has produced a number of quality musicians over the years and North Queensland's Lisa Richards is no different. Floating somewhere in between a blend of folk, blues, roots and jazz, Lisa's style is hard to pin down but this only makes her music more intriguing.

Having recently released her new album, A Light From The Other Side, Lisa is looking to make a name for herself and it certainly won't be long considering the voice that she has been gifted with. Lisa's vocals possess a truly delicate, yet sweet tone to them, quite like nothing else you'll ever have heard before.

'Frank Sinatra', taken from the new album is led by Lisa's trademark vocals as well as a jazzy little guitar line that compliments her voice perfectly. Not only this, but the track is accompanied by an endearingly animated video featuring the friendship between a badger and a bird.

Lisa has had a difficult life to say the least, stemming from her childhood, but it is these experiences that have given her quality material with which to form her songs with.
