Karpfenland
This project is a photographic journey through the German region called the "Karpfenland Aischgrund".
The Aischgrund's name stems from the tiny river Aisch located in northern Bavaria. The Aisch is home to the mirror carp, a famous Franconian delicacy. The carps grow in countless ponds which shape this landscape in a very unique way.

I traveled around the Aischgrund, capturing the beauty of this special area. To document this, I designed a photobook that was then exhibited.
