Routes through Architecture - relations between the body and space, FAUP, 2017
"In order to find a way of dialogue with urban spaces in which the architecture, histories and destinations offered by them are the starting point for creation, this project consists of the construction of small choreographic pieces through the exploration of several places And non-formal contexts for Dance.The participants find here the possibility of creating a small choreographic piece from the contamination with the space in which the body is inserted, discovering and establishing new relations, with oneself and with the inhabited space.The public is led along a path that traverses all the unusual spaces chosen by creators to receive their creation.In its 14th edition, since 1999, this project proposes the work of collaboration and co-creation between students of choreography (advanced training developed by the Unstable Company) and students and alumni of the University of Porto.Experimentation, analysis and reflection are encouraged as fundamental principles of Contemporary Dance and as pillars of this project that lead the creators to their own discovery and the discovery of spaces that surprises and innovates by the originality of the creation that proposes.Starting from the artistic practice, creators develop creative capacities and a spirit of initiative, in cooperation with others. "
