В книге «Далеко-далеко на востоке» рассказывается о том, как народы Приамурья
использовали ресурсы природы не принося ей вреда. Люди находили пользу во всём.
Например, рыбу они не только ели, но и шили из её кожи одежду и обувь, вставляли
вместо стекол, а из костей варили клей.
Люди охотились, ловили рыбу, собирали травы. Поэтому книга делится на три главы:
лес, река, поле. В книге используются иллюстрации, а в конце каждой главы помещены
документальные фотографии вещей.
The book “Far, far away in the East... “ tells the reader about how the native people of Amur
used the resources that nature provides without damaging it. The people found use in everything.
For example, when the fish was eaten, it’s skin was used for footwear, clothing and as glass
substitute in windows, it’s bones were used for glue.
The people hunted, fished and gathered herbs. That’s why the book is divided into three chapters:
the forest, the river and the field. The book uses illustrations throughout and at the end of each
chapter the reader finds documentative photographs of real tools used by the Amur people.
