Ecommerce with blog for superfoods startup - Partner and UX designer.
Scope

Develop an e-commerce with a blog so the company could sell its products online and produce content to attract leads and increase sales. My part was to focus on the design & development of both e-commerce and blog, but I was also responsible for the branding and marketing (posts on social medias, packaging of the superfoods and advertisement).

Design process

I followed the Lean UX design process, focusing on understanding well the problem and the target audience, as well as product requirements to generate solutions fast and fail faster, evolving as we moved. Following the Lean Startup methodology, me and my brother Aruã (who was my partner in this endeavor), created and tested several MVPs while the company was trying to find the right niche and the best way to sell. I ended up focusing on the branding, creating a visual identity and styleguide that would allow me to gerenate fast interface ideas while the website evolved. This ended up being very positive to draw, develop and test the MVPs. We validated all our hypothesis (design and business model) and were growing each month in revenue, but in the end, due to strict policies and long waiting periods to register our products (courtesy of the brazilian agency responsible for controlling food related products) we decided to pause the idea, assuming other long term commitments.

It was a really interesting project where I learned a lot about digital marketing and sales, a theme that I haven't explored yet but got really enthusiastic about.
