This lil' beauty is a BEAST
The challenge was to design a product for the entry-level market, that delivers everything people love about legacy UE speakers: 360-degree sound, being waterproof and virtually indestructible. Two things are most important to people who are likely buying their first wireless Bluetooth speaker: need for good sound quality and fuss-free, easy music controls.
Audience
The first time a speaker in the UE line up intentionally skews feminine. A refreshing lifestyle CMF that works for both M + F, but was curated with HER in mind. Evokes the spirit of an accessory more than a CE product.
Simple
No fuss, no frills, a dead simple interface. UX features that make listening better together (double-up).
Process
Explorations in color, form + soft goods construction.
