As a lover of everything that is Surf and Skate culture, as well as a lover of branding, I found the opportunity to combine the two with this project. Burnout is a shoe line created for Vans. It is meant to capture the attention of the grungy skater, the salty surfer, and any other dirty action sport lover. I crossed the clean with the dirty to create a rugged, rebellious feel, but also kept the designs clean and simple to ground a modern feel.
