Leather as material has been used in various fields to sustain our necessity such as clothing, utensil, vehicle, and so forth. In today’s global economic, leather decorative value is highly appreciated by its unique appearance. Ákob leather lamp fuses the understanding of Indonesian's basket craft and boiled leather method. Placed on a table, the stand continues as a junction to weave the shade forming a square and circle ends basket-like. The basket-like shape that commonly found in South East Asia basketry is consistently woven by a slot-joint that tighten the interlocking in the boiling process.
