Ákob leather lamp
Ákob leather lamp fuses the understanding of Indonesian's basket craft and boiled leather method. Placed on a table, the stand continues as a junction to weave the shade forming a square and circle ends basket-like. The basket-like shape that commonly found in South East Asia basketry is consistently woven by a slot-joint that tighten the interlocking in the boiling process. The stand and shade stand still through boiling process while its exceeding strips (from weaving) remains expressing leather's soft gesture like tying bamboo's strips as the light holder, and a bending curve for a handle.
