Boomerangs: Shop Thrift. Fight AIDS.

Boomerangs is an award-winning family of thrift stores, owned and operated by AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts. There was a need to update the organization's previous identity to be reflective of Boomerangs' vibrant culture and community, easy to use across mediums (print and web) and with other brands. I worked closely with Boomerangs staff to develop an identity that boasted a modern typography, an extended color palate, and a new website with updated photography.

Role: Creative Direction, Graphic Design, and Research

Recognition: GDUSA Health + Wellness Design Award

Tote Bags
As part of the rebrand, I had the opportunity to explore potential designs for a suite of Boomerangs tote bags. Each tote bag features a location's store front. I wanted to capture the thrift store's "local" vibe in a bold but minimal way.
Website & Social Media Refresh
ShopBoomerangs.org was given a fresh look as well. Social media graphics were designed to help promote in-store sales. (Additional credit(s): April Francis, Web Development)
