Mutatio is a series willing to show the accelerating transformation of the Moroccan landscape.

At some point, anyone living around big Moroccan cities, such as Casablanca, has the feeling that there is an unprecedented acceleration in the way everything changes. It simply looks like the whole country is under construction. Morocco, is somehow emulating spain building boom of the 80's. Some of the most interesting outcomes, may be the way the urban border keeps growing up, nevertheless, it looks like there is no planification at all.

This series, produced in Casablanca, explores the way old boundaries existing between the rural world and an ever-growing urban world seem to fade away.
It seems like the urban world is annexing small parts of the rural areas without any sort of urban planning. There is no relationship of consent, but rather a certain violence in this accelerating process.
