(The) SOUNDWAVE QUOTEBOOK
Back in 2015, Patti Smith spoke at the New York Public Library and among all her inspiring words, one statement in particular still resonates with me:
“I like the aspect of bringing words to life, like a physical object--letting them be physical imprints on a page”.
As an artist, I look for ways to absorb the guidance of other creatives to offer insight into my process. Their words remind me that striving to be creative and malleable is a universal ambition with many past and present voices--and thus many soundtracks. The goal of this book is to bring a tactile character to the voices of the people who have inspired me to keep creating, and to pay tribute to those who have reassured my process and the long road ahead.
