Cobra Recruitment Poster
This 4'x6' poster was created as a backdrop for a tradeshow booth for The Finest, a national G.I. Joe and Cobra costuming club. The booth was set up to resemble a recruitment office, with this poster being the central visual element. The challenge with creating this poster was mostly in the photoshopping of the face shield, which originally showed reflections of various lights and photo equipment used during the photo shoot. Retouching the face shield involved several layers of gradients and a city skyline stock photo, which were altered and warped significantly to replace the original images and reflections. The overall design of the poster is an homage to the Uncle Sam "I Want You" posters popularized during World War I.
