Speculative 'Dyson' Kitchen Timer
This project was designed as a 'speculative' kitchen time. The brief was very loose, with the only restraints that it had to 'count time' and be inspired by the well known brand 'Dyson'. Shown below is the presentation model, constructed by 3D printing, hand turning ureol and cardboard.

The dial and time telling element of the timer here is very conceptual, based off the phenomena of a crescent moon. While there are no actual numbers of the time telling element, you can tell the time by how much of the moon you can see.
It was designed with ergonomic requirements in mind. It fits perfectly in the hand and you really want to pick it up and fiddle with it.
