Knit me Together
Fall 2016
16x20in
OIl on canvas Board

This painting was the end to my series I worked on in Painting III. This series was all about taking passages out of the bible and bringing them to life. I wanted to also incorporate an abstract element, and start to move into a more contemporary feel in my paintings.

Valley of Dry Bones
Fall 2016
22x30in
Acrylic on Illustration board

This painting was a start to a series I worked on in my Painting III class. I wanted to take stories out of the Bible and bring them to life. I wanted people to see the wonders and excitement I see in the bible. In this painting I did a very intense underpainting all in Colbalt blue, an then tediously layered color overtop of the blue.
