Background and Concept
Sensemaking Lab team approached with the task to design user interface for their ontology generator web app. This app is developed in cooperation with DataSkill. Ontology generator is a strong tool for working with large masses of text, and is extremely useful for big data analytics. Project was done in 2017.
User Experience
The first stage of the project was to analyse the client's specs, modify them, and as a result create a prototype to test with the developers team. After the specs analysis several modification ideas were suggested to the client. The prototype was created in Axure based on these modifications. Both client and developers have tested the prototype. The test revealed several issues that needed to be redefined. As a result new improved specs were written by the client.

User Interface Design
The second step was to design a user interface based on both feedback from the previous prototype and updated specs. The user interface was designed in Adobe XD, which allowed to create a prototype simultaneously. This allowed to evaluate and test both visual design and user experience at the same time, hence accelerate the work process, as well as to detect possible logic mistakes. All stakeholders were able to be involved into design process in a comfortable and productive way.
