Hot Fun in the Summertime was a show created by young actors, musicians and artists to showcase up and coming talent. The theme of the show was Hot Summer Fun, using this theme and the idea of a 24 hour play project (in which actors wrote and produced a show with a limited amount of prep time) my partner, Christian Torres, came up with the idea of collage with old photographs and imagery. Using found imagery from old magazines and advertisements we created the identity for this late nite production. The show was a huge success selling out all three days in a row at the Cherry Lane Theatre in Lower Manhattan. We also created stop motion videos to play between each scene.
