User Research & Qualitative Testing for new service

The User testing was done for mobile app of a Home services provider Startup I have been consulting as a UX Expert for past few months.
BRIEF:
The existing application would be a introducing a new service in the form of a Makeup Artist Marketplace (Bridal Services). The application is a online booking and managing platform for home services delivered through Service Providers. Activity purposed to study user needs and test UI samples to collect user feedback.
USER RESEARCH
Contextual Interviews were conducted to qualify purpose and goals of the product for our target customers (for Bridal Services).
Focus of these interview questions was targeted at following aspects:
1. Understanding User Persona
2. Understanding User goals & Objectives in context to product feature
3. Understand User Journey
4. Identify gaps
USER PERSONA
2 types of Persona came out prominently through the research
1. Expert on subject of Makeup needs
2. Novice on subject of Makeup needs
USER GOALS
USER JOURNEY MAP
IDENTIFY GAPS
Understanding the gaps on both sides of the business - The Service Provider & The Customer
IDENTIFY USER NEEDS
MOTIVATION for DESIGN & SOLUTION PROCESS
USER TESTING
The user testing was a 2 part activity:
Part 1 > Involved a interview session with the user to understand their likes/preferences/expectations and how they approach the subject (Searching for Makeup Artists). The Questionnaire was designed to find out what drives a user while looking for a Bridal makeup service for hire.
Part 2 > A set of tasks were provided along with a Prototype to perform the tasks using a smartphone
USABILITY TESTING RESULTS
The user response was largely positive towards the Interaction patterns used for navigating through catalogue, and the affordance of controls depicted

Observations:
1. Users were able to navigate easily to the complete tasks at hand
2. Users wanted to see more in the portfolio before proceeding to contact a makeup artist
3. Filter option for budget range held more importance for most users, as budget is a significant driving point
4. Some users wanted to see options or packages that included other family members, specially in context of special occasions that are largely family orienty (e.g. wedding makeup)
The module tested and designed was LIVE as 'Premium Makeup Services' on the Housejoy app (iOS & Android) for a year, the same UI pattern was to be replicated for Categories like 'Wedding photographers', 'Interior Designers'  etc.
