Classroom Studio in Action

The relationship between teacher and student is the most important for all ages. Committed to be a lifelong learner in all experiences, I am sensitive to create art explorations to stretch engagement and meet individual goals. You will see high engagement of students in a variety of studio spaces.
The mobile trailer was the catalyst that transformed my pedagogy shift from DBAE to Maker Centered Learning through TAB:  Teaching for Artistic Behavior.  Here I am observing first grade students explore the printing tools.
Classroom studio community is initiated in art with Back to School Banners. Each homeroom selects an animal and personal character they hope to develop.  Banners are shared at morning meeting outside with a special chant or poem, then displayed outside of homeroom.
