RUE is a contemporary jewelry brand established in New York in 2007. As the name reflects the French word for street and an evergreen Rue (Ruta) in English, RUE reinterprets and gives new values to ordinary, often overlooked things translated through design esthetics woven from differing inspirational strands ranging from the study of botany and ethnography to biology and mathematics.

RUE's jewelry has been carried at the world’s leading boutiques. Following the studio's relocation to Tokyo, it made the first collection appearance in Japan in Spring / Summer 2010.
STUDIO NEWWORK had designed Spring / Summer 2010 and Spring / Summer 2011 market opening invitations. For Spring / Summer 2010 collection, a subtle color palette with metallic silver was selected to create an invitation for the delicately handcrafted jewelry brand. For Spring / Summer 2011 collection, Rue’s brand key color, aqua blue was selected.
