The annual Wake Forest University Football Campaign consists of a poster (below,) season ticket brochure (cover & center spread featured below,) group ticket brochure, schedule card, billboard and newspaper ads of various sizes. The poster and brochure printed in 4-color process with metallic gold spot.
The challenge of designing the poster is that WFU provides lots of images, but none that are large enough to feature dominantly on a 22" x 30" poster. My solution required that I convince the Athletic Department to loan me antique memorabilia from their trophy cases so I could have them photographed in our studio to create a collage of old and new. I was pleased with the result, which honors the tradition of the university and is very different from past campaigns.
