Swallow Cafe is a little coffee spot that originally opened up  just off of the Morgan L Train stop in Brooklyn and now has a sister location in Williamsburg. I tried to convince the owner to let me paint a person choking on a you know what outside; but he didn't go for it.  So we decided to paint a big ass bird outside instead. For the record, this was painted before we were aware of the "Portlandia" skit. Also for the record, I don't really find that show to be very funny.
