Immersion Iceland Film

In January 2015 I visited Iceland for the first time to explore, photograph and film the beautiful landscapes. This resulted my short film Immersion Iceland which is available to view in full for the first time here.
The film was commissioned by Curated Place for the 2015 Spectra Festival of Light in Aberdeen.
This years Spectra Festival is open in Aberdeen from the 9th till the 12th of February and includes a new Secret Cities photography exhibition that I have created with writer Adelle Stripe.
In the Iceland film you can see active volcanoes, edges of glaciers, the aurora borealis and much more. I really wanted to capture some of the atmosphere and sublime beauty of the Icelandic landscape.
You can see a selection of still photography from the visit here.
Prints of this work are available in my shop.
The sound track is an original piece created for the film by composer Jack White.

Thanks also to Heiðrún Þráinsdóttir Kelly and Eirikur Thor for their help accessing these amazing locations.
