The Jump - Channel Four, Single Portraits

Publicity images for the TV show The Jump for Channel Four. The 14 contestants were shot across 4 days, in different locations and in different weather and lighting conditions, from heavy snow to bright sunshine to -25 degrees temperature. The challenge was to shoot and light them in such a way as to be able to combine them into a single group shot  (see my other project where I show the group shot) but also make sure they looked good as individual portraits.

We often had very little time with the contestants, as it was extremely cold and they had a tight training schedule, so we had to shoot as much content and variety in a small amount of time as possible.
