MULTI FORMAT CAMPAIGN
STEEL CITY 

For the final assessment for my first year design module, we were given the brief:
Develop a concept for a new ‘City Festival’ and design a campaign to promote the event embracing a variety of content and delivery mechanisms. The name of the city that you select must start with the first letter of your last name. The type of festival is entirely up to you.The designs that you produce should reflect both the nature of the festival and the cultural identity of the city. You must fuse these two styles, creating artwork that will appeal to both audiences. You are encouraged to create designs for as broad a variety of content and delivery mechanisms as possible. It is essential that your campaign includes a logo, an advertisement for print and at least one piece of design intended for on-screen delivery.

The concept for my campaign is an Indie-pop festival in Sheffield which I titled 'Steel City'. The festival mergers the genre with sheffield's known culture, often using popular destinations in Sheffield in my designs. I created an abundance of delivery mechanisms such as: TV idents, Web banners, Social Media Accounts and Merchandise.

I thoroughly enjoyed this brief and its allowed me the freedom to be as creative as possible. In addition, I feel I engaged with the task effectively by handling the brief as if it were a real world assignment which I feel comes across in my work.

I achieved an overall grade of 67% for this assignment!
