PENGUIN DESIGN AWARD 2016 ENTRY
My submission for the Adult Fiction Cover Design for the Penguin Design Award 2016.
The brief was to redesign the cover of Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange, with a revolutionary concept and execution. For the same I thought of using the author's own explanation of the title (details) as my inspiration. To portray the theme of the violent removal of life from a body, I decided to make the cover depict a juiced orange, with no life inside of it, with 'the weapon' as testimony to the violence caused.
