Strideaway is an online publication dedicated to the great American sport of pointing dog field trials. It’s objective is to present the voices of knowledgeable participants including breeders, trainer/handlers, judges and others. The site is regularly updated with new stories, articles, podcast interviews, art, championship timelines and other sources of information of current and historical interest. Strideaway has designed and published three books to date: The Unforgettables and Other True Fables by Bill Allen, Reflections On Bird Dogs and The Men Who Handled Them by Ed Mack Farrior and first in a series: The Little Book of Bird Dog Names. The site has an online store with primarily unique products unavailable elsewhere.
