Web Design
Various Website Concepts
I began learning HTML and CSS in mid-2011 as part of a web design class. While I have much much more to learn about coding before I'll ever be considered a great web designer, I have been able to see at least one site through to functional fruition, namely the Omicron Delta Kappa site featured below. Currently I have a basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS, and would like to learn more.
Omicron Delta Kappa is an honor society at many college campuses around the country. Ohio University's circle was in desperate need of a new website, so I designed one that the circle could use to promote its causes and to keep events and contact information organized.
These are mockups of the website I proposed as part of a campaign to educate, provide resources for, and raise awareness of syphilis and other STIs to Baltimore's citizens as part of a class project involving text from Malcolm Gladwell's book, "The Tipping Point." You can learn more about this project here.

Extensive redesign of an already-existing site made up the foundation of an 11-week class I took in the winter quarter of 2011. I chose to redesign four pages of IGN's website (ign.com), for I felt the homepage and existing sites were way too cluttered. While I didn't finish coding it entirely, the visual mockups such as this were featured in Ohio University's College of Visual Commications Student Show at the Dairy Barn in Athens, Ohio.
