Product Display Unit + Projection Mapping
The good people from Blink Solutions asked me to come up with a display unit, to celebrate the 100th year of Goldflake cigarettes. ITC is launching 2 new brands of cigarettes for this occasion and they wanted a snazzy new display unit with integrated projection mapping capabilities.
I started out with laying down a grid which would provide the foundation for both the Display and the projection mapping surface.

Background developed by overlaying hexagons and isometric boxes on the grid.
The display unit is made of dark wood with a golden trim and diffused golden back-lighting to exude an old world charm. The techy and postmodern mapping surface is made of a matt white material (plaster of paris / thermacol) which ensures a good surface for projection mapping.
The display unit is mapped on the grid for ease in projection mapping.
