Since 2014, Pistols Firing Blog has run their popular "Uniform Prediction" series in which three main contributors to the site attempt to predict the uniform combination that Oklahoma State will wear for the week's game.

This required the ability to quickly and accurately depict any one of a potential 240 combos, often with only a few days notice. Additionally, with the rapid pace at which the Cowboys introduce new helmets and accessories (debuting 7 new helmet designs in 2016 alone), quick turnaround was a vital part of series' success. By generating an easily-managed template where individual elements could be mixed and matched with just a few clicks, creating the week's graphic became a streamlined process.
