Device Responsive HTML Email template Design

As a part of my Developer Portfolio, this HTML Email Front-End work is a sampler of what I can achieve when faced of a challenging task of being limited of the full set of tools that I could use.
Creating HTML email seems 'simple' because you think not needing JavaScript, Embeds, and other advanced DHTML, HTML5 features will make email design a breeze... but that's the trap there.  Email design isn't a walk in the park, and if you get a few of the specifics wrong, you will end up with a template that does not even remotely look like of what  the initial design concept was.
Here are some more screenshots from Mozilla Thunderbird, Samsung's Android Email, and others:

Disclaimer: The information I've written here years ago was still relevant during that time. However, with leaps and bounds in technology and advancement of CSS capabilities in Email and Email clients, some of these 'facts" are no longer true, or they can still apply to project today, but there are already better ways of creating well-styled and branded Emails.
Credit goes to the unnamed beneficiaries of the stock photos of every recognized stock photo you see here.  The only thing that belongs to me here is the HTML.
