ARQUITETURAS FILM FESTIVAL 2016 - REHAB NATION
Para o programa desta edição, o ARQUITETURAS vai promover filmes e debates que explorem a vasta gama de conotações que podem estar associados com a expressão “REHAB NATION”. Da reabilitação dos velhos centros históricos à gentrificação dos bairros turísticos; da falta de investimento na habitação social à construção de novos sentidos de comunidade; da privatização do espaço público à emergência de novas formas de intervenção urbana.
Ao usar o trabalho do colectivo FITA COLA (Graça e Quitério Santos) imagem deste ano pretende mostrar essa mutação e mistura constante entre os vários tipos de expressão habitacional.
For this new edition, ARCHITECTURES will promote films and debates that explore the wide range of connotations that may be associated with the expression "REHAB NATION". From the rehabilitation of the old historical centers to the gentrification of the tourist districts; From the lack of investment in social housing to the construction of new senses of community;From the privatization of public space to the emergence of new forms of urban intervention.
When using the work of the collective FITA COLA (Graça and Quitério Santos) image this year intends to show this mutation and constant change between the various types of housing expression.
