The client asked for a panda drawing to incorporate into a new logo. After reviewing the initial sketches, she also asked that I give the panda a hair bow; upon further discussion, however, we decided it would be more appropriate to give the panda a hibiscus. The client also requested seasonal backgrounds for the panda, starting with winter and Christmas, though more may be added later. Though the concept sketches included the client's name, ultimately it was decided that I would provide only the illustrations, and the client would later add the text herself.
Side Note
The armed panda was produced while watching The Bourne Supremacy, and was not intended seriously.
