ALLPAY - QR PAYMENT REDESIGN
PRODUCT RESEARCH

In order to have a better understanding of the product, I did research first and find out the answer of following questions
1. What is AllPay?
2. Who is the user? 
3. What is the pain point of user?
4. Who is the biggest competitor in the market?

As a 3rd party payment tool, there are existing successful products in the market like Apple Pay, Ali Pay, Paypal and so forth, that means user are get use to pay things in a certain way.  AllPay may have creative way of paying stuff but that would cost extra time on learning. 

I started with user research, created a persona to represent our main user, work through the user jouney and took deep thinking of user mental model of each step, then draw out the user workflow and made the UX frames for the prouct.

CHANGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

I have asked some of my friend from different places about the user experience of AllPay to get some insights.
1. Have you ever use AllPay for shopping? How often do you use it?
2. Is there a problem when you use it?
3. Is there a similar product that you think is better than AllPay?
INSIGHTS

The feedback point out the designer didn’t think about the use itself and the user scenario while designing, I started over from making persona and user scenario in order to build a reasonable and elegant payment user workflow.

USER TESTING

After prototyping, I have asked some of my friend to test the use ability of the workflow, see how they doing and react, asking them questions. They said the redesigned workflow is much convenient and easy to use, they don’t have to type in code every time show the QR and make more sense with the payment workflow.
