Architectural Design Studio Earth: Plato's Cave

Located in Herring Island in the Yarra River of the city of Melbourne, Australia, this exercise proposes a place for keeping secrets. Thought a series of exercises the students approach the site and different subjects that they would apply in the final exercise. The exercises consist on the subjects of point, line and plane , mass and frame and infill, which provided the students with a series of tools to develop the final exercise. In the end the students had to design a pavilion embracing the theme of secrets.
