Our first approach for this visual was primarily based on CGI plus some retouching work to add photographed paper wrinkles:
As we realized that this may not lead to a perfect result we tried a different approach.
We printed a 3D model, wrapped thin aluminum plates around it and shot various photos of it.
These photographs were then comped together and retouched in order to achieve the most stunning result.
