Holiday Packaging collection x Bare Minerals

Last Winter, I was commissioned by Bare Minerals to work on a couple of patterns for their 2016 Holidays – Xmas collection. The brief was called “Bare in the woods” and the story was the following:
“Healthy-looking skin glowing with laughter and cheer. Rosy cheeks fresh from the cold. Brushed metallic lids that flicker in the firelight. This holiday, channel the warmth of the season with beautiful, effortless looks that radiate the joy and love within.”
I was asked to create several designs around key words such as snow flake, frost, sparks, pine trees…
I wanted to stay minimal to fit the brand image but also give it an elegant and delicate “organic” touch, and take advantage of the all the metallic foiling and embossing I was aware they would use a lot on the collection. I took a lot of inspiration from old Japanese winter scenes Artwork and various organic picture references to create these patterns.
I absolutely love what the Bare Minerals Design team did and here is how they’ve used my work for their Holiday packaging and across their different medias. Such a fun project!
