AISSS SPIRIT Program Video

When the American Indian Student Support Services group (AISSS) came under the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts umbrella, they were very quick to suggest a redesign of their SPIRIT program video, which they'd been using for the past few years.
The SPIRIT program invites Native students to ASU earlier than other incoming students for additional programming and extra time to network and become familiar with the campus. Many of the students who participate in the SPIRIT program are first-generation college students in their families, and many of them have never lived outside of local reservation lands--it's a big step.

So to be able to meet some of the participants and student ambassadors was a great experience. Everyone was very vocal about how grateful they were for the opportunities granted by the program, which even extend all the way to career services, academic advising, and financial aid.
