The concept:
By looking at a street advertisement, a man has a yearning to travel and visit the places where the grass is greener. In poster, two separate worlds have to be presented: Beirut, Lebanon and Paris, France. Visual feel of clash of the two worlds. Clearly to understand that hero is dreaming of Paris and the reason why he wants to leave his hometown.
Short synopsis:
This is a beautiful and deep story of a man searching for his identity between East and West, Lebanon and France. In doing so, he is questioning his family values, tradition and what the true meaning of “home” is. To be more precise, the story tells the irony of a travel agent who sells dreams of the West to rich Lebanese even though he himself had never travelled. The viewer is given a different, sensitive and funny eye on the small town man's life turned upside-down. This travel agent will leave his country and discover the western world like a child filled with wonder.
