The Missouri Institute of Mental Health was hosting their first Web Conference called Deep, Dark, Secret. This web conference focused on the taboo subject of mental illnesses within the African American community. And, when dealing with a subject such as this, a design is needed that is sensitive to the issues, but able to be immersed in the community. For this challenge, I chose an illustrative, typographic approach that symbolizes the idea of a "secret" while also playing up the idea of "mental health". In the end, the webinar had over 500 attendees, whereas prior webinars had an average of 80 attendees.
