Plastic toy soldiers, string.This work is regarding the thought that from religion (in general, not just christianity) often comes war, surpression and violence, which does not stroke with the intention of religion in general.The fact that this image reminds of Jesus Christ with a thorn crown and of war is my personal way of displaying my "discomfort" about this situation.Also this work is about men in general, wearing violence as a thorn crown through his life.By no means is it my intention to offend anyone with this image.
