This project was originally an exercise to create two different ways to choose different music on a tablet version of Amazon Prime.

Third screen of wireframe showing detailed music by mood screen with options. User can also still control music player.

User selects more icon and drop down appears. Change playlist option selected.
Option takes user to Playlist screen. User can choose from current custom playlists or generated playlists. User can also still operate music player.

I also created a phone version for the same task scenario: changing a playlist. Amazon Prime does have a phone app, but I find it very frustrating to use for actually playing music. They hide my playlists and it is too easy to accidentally bump my music player area on the screen.
This phone version does assume someone is using the website not the app. One the second screen, the user has chosen to change their playlist using the (...) icon. There is a contextual breadcrumb showing where the user is. Users can also still search, use the main menu, control the player, get distracted by an amazon ad, or get help.
Here is the Desktop version of choosing music by mood. Layout has smaller clickable areas and more space reserved for ads and promotions. This is the "home page" of Amazon Prime Music. Amazon has made a few improvements in the last few weeks since I started this project, but I still find going there to listen to music to be a frustrating experience.
Additional filtering is also available as user browses. I used gradients instead of actual images as placeholders for graphics. There is also the option to add a mood playlist, purchase, or add it to the cart. Notice the user can quickly find their library, playlist, or go to other areas of Amazon.com.
