This projects consits in Creating and designing biological plastic materials by using hand crafting, cooking skills and experimenting with materials led by Turkish architect Esen Gökçe Özdamar under the framework of "Tirana Architecture Weeks 2016" .
The basic ingredients were :
- Starch - 50 gr
- Glycerin - 15 gr
- Vinegar - 15 gr
- Water - 150 gr
- Salt - 5 gr
After cooking and drying the shape we dyed it with wax and molten sugar. We mixed the basic ingredients and after adding the additives we cooked it until its material hardened and we could notice the bubbles.

As a team we decided to design a necklace in bioplastic material. After experimenting for about 10 times by adding different additives, we came to this final decision of how it was going to look like. The ingredients this time were the basics plus 30 gr sugar.
After cooking and drying the shape we dyed it with wax and molten sugar. We mixed the basic ingredients and after adding the additives we cooked it until its material hardened and we could notice the bubbles. After that, we put it on a mould and let it get cold so we could put it in oven for one hour and then all modul and its form was done.
Et voila! This is our necklace! Not ordinary but beautiful its way.
And this is the form we created by clay to give the model the shape of the necklace.
