Tinker Tales Exhibit

A sequential art for Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan's exhibit at Ayala Museum.
This is based on a story written by Ruth, a student of Raya School.

Story: Rachel felt alone in this world. She couldn't tell anyone her thoughts, her feelings, since she knew they would judge her, like everyone else in this world. She always cried alone, with no one to comfort her. She went into the valley that was only twelve miles away from town, so she always took a cab. The valley was a place where she could say anything, do anything. She didn't need to try to be perfect in the valley, didn't have to try to please anyone. One day, she decided to live in the valley. Coincidentally, there was a birch tree cottage at the center of the valley. She slept there, living on fruits and vegetables growing on trees and land. Several weeks later, a fox appeared on her doorstep, a blue collar on his neck. It said, 'Simon' on it. Rachel smiled and picked the fox up, kissing its head. The fox leaped out of her arms and sprinted toward the closed door. He kept scratching it until Rachel finally opened it, allowing the fox to bolt outside to the Sparkling Lake. When she arrived where the fox was, she saw a boy, about her age, sitting by the lake, caressing a blue bird that was on one of his shoulders. The fox barked and the boy looked up, smiling at Rachel. He nodded for her to sit with him, and she did. That simple fox that lead Rachel to the boy(apparently his name was Jinx). That simple fox lead Rachel and Jinx into a very lovely and intimate friendship, so two years later, Rachel and Jinx had a baby girl. (Holding suspense) THE END
