Conference camera design started from hand-drown sketches. Sketches was the fastest way to quickly imagine how the new product could look like in consideration to the inside parts. All camera head movements were analysed to fully understand how the product will function. While making reverse engineering 3D models and visualizations were made. Finally it was decided to put rotating motor in the same housing as the camera module. In this case it was hidden and the design could have thinner head holder. Another motor was put under the holder for the vertical rotation. The head of the camera can smoothly move in all directions and optically zoom to 20 times. When camera is switched off the head moves down. This action gives the psychological safety that nobody is watching.
