The St-Benoît-du-Lac Abbey is a magnificent series of working and religious buildings set in the Eastern township of Québec. The visitor is allowed in parts of the abbey, but even when tour operators stopped for a visit, the monks did not receive any compensation for this activity. Worst, some visitor stoled object form the abbey, resulting in a reflection to better canal the flow of visitors in an ongoing welcoming attitude. We were commissioned to conceive a visiting route in the abbey presenting the many faces of this community.
Some station showcases diorama illustrations, made of layers of laser-cut imagery.
This project was directed by scenography director Laurent-Michel Tremblay.
