For BLITZ, I wanted to get away from the traditional 'St Paul's Cathedral bombing' Photo that seems to have become synonymous. My thought became based on the London Underground, which initially the production team didn't buy into - until I suggested this route due to the show's setting, based in the London Underground. This was the concept I provided Stage One.

Following the discussion, the Production Team agreed the design, but expressed some changes based on artistic license that the theatre gives us so much freedom with. Agreeing that the London Underground idea being a fresh take, they felt that we should remove the historic 'train tracks' and have the title font. Although not accurate historically, I think this decision was the right one.

This is a perfect example of client and provider working together to achieve the common goal.
