TITLE – No Man Gets Left Behind

TECHNIQUE – Macrophotography. DSLR Photography.

PROCESS – The purpose of Macrophotography is to use props in order to portray a miniature scene as a life sized one. That is what I've attempted to achieve here with the use of rippled cardboard as sand, figurines as men, and a small helicopter eraser as their mode of transportation. The focus of the camera manages to draw the viewers eye straight to the man subject, the middle male figurine.

REASONING – The choice of props were made to imitate a scene within a warzone. Showing a soldier, his commander in the background, and his friend injured on the ground. This image portrays a sense of mateship and loyalty, through the use of these miniature props.

REFLECTION – I am satisfied with the overall result of this image, depicting a miniature war scene through the use of cardboard, stationary and figurines.
