Balloon Wars Poster

If speech balloons transforminto the visual manifestations of our words and feelings, what would they looklike? To reveal their shapes, colors, spikes and curves, the creatures have comeout to play. Anger suits up a tightorange that screams out its spiked edges; Sadness dons a dark cloud as itsbulging eye leaves a trail of tears; Joy’s radiates in yellow, its eye a dotand a swirl, swaying its wavy arms; With a pair of curves for closed eyes, Sleepis cozy in fluffy and puffy grey...floating in a dream. If someone embraces you withkind words, throws you a piercing line or just says a random whatever, whatcreature will be revealed?
BALLOON WARS is a series of illustrations featuring speechballoons in the guise of colorful and whimsical creatures.
And here is the 12x17 poster I printed on Metallic Paper (thanks too topnotch printing of Studio 58). I decided to have it framed with acrylic sheets.
