This university brief called for me to design the brand communications for a fictitious mountain rescue team in the Scottish Highlands. This particular mountain range is home to a local legend. I decided to play with this and brand a rescue team that purely responded to extraterrestrial activity.

I wanted the logo to reflect a kind of other worldly personality, while at the same time looks the part as a professional rescue force...
As part of the mysterious nature of this 'Special' rescue team, you might find something hidden in the logo's mountain range...
Spooky how the contours of the mountain look a lot like the profile of a mysterious ghost-like figure...

A brief given to me as part of the marketing team for Leeds University Union. The campaign was to integrate student's with their local amenities; a successful initiative with the help of a clear, friendly branding. It reflects the camaraderie of Leeds students and their community.

The shape was inspired by the price labels commonly used in local grocery stores and the jilted angles reflect further its humanist nature.
A poster from the campaign celebrating locally sourced products, and providing the students with a clear message of how shopping locally benefits everyone!

I was commissioned to design a refreshingly new brand for a local primary school. After meeting with the headteacher and figuring out what it is they truly want to communicate to the world, I designed a logo and various assets that reflect the many facets of this school.

The trees utilise the school's unique way of naming each year group. The twists of the tree's body not only spells out the school's initial, but also symbolises the school's foundation and values as a Church of England primary school. The three trees on a hill also represent Jesus' death; who died alongside two criminals.

The typography is friendly and child-like in its features; reflecting how important the education of children is to this school.

During my final few months as student, I was approached by my tutors and asked if I would head a team to design and implement the School of Design’s exhibition – a chance for final year students across all disciplines to showcase their work. I accepted the opportunity and alongside producing my own final year projects and various freelance work.
